Studying at Metropolia has enriched my learning with a multicultural environment. Lecturers from around the world, bring their experience in teaching and culture to the classroom. Their different perspective on issues relating to business, give me a greater understanding of the international business world and prepare me for a great career in the future.

What Metropolia provides, from a Business School point of view, is the true fundamental pillar for education on global perspectives of International Business.
The new barriers faced by students that come with change and challenges are supported by optimism and encouragement provided by lecturers forming a motivational and friendly union throughout this University of Applied Sciences.

Being an international person, I wanted to have an international learning experience. Metropolia is the perfect place for an international experience. Different ethnicities and cultural backgrounds open your eyes to how the world as a whole operates. Each lecturer brings another diverse and culturally rich view point to the vast subject that is business. Real world application and hands on learning bring full understanding to all subjects, the IBL program is not just theory after theory. The business world is a world of endless possibilities; Metropolia is the gateway.

Studying in Metropolia has not only been a great chance of a lifetime but has also been a great opportunity of getting to learn about different cultures and future business opportunities across the globe. Having lecturers and students from all over the world, is the best environment to understand and analyse the global business environment on different perspectives.

Metropolia Business School's EBA link provides good general knowledge; you meet different kind of people from all over the world and learn more about different cultures. Teachers are nice and they know what they are talking about. They are more than happy to help the students and they encourage us to take risks and to believe in ourselves. Usually in class we are discussing about the current issues that are happening in the world, which helps to make the theory part clearer to us. Studying in English is not so difficult I thought it would be. When you hear it every day, you will catch it quite quickly. I think Metropolia is for those who are strong, determined and can work under pressure.

My passion has been studying and later working in a multicultural environment and Metropolia Business School allows me to do just that. My choice of studies has not let me down since I'm constantly discovering new things about the diverse people around me as well as myself. Conducting a double degree program is hard work and requires full commitment but the reward is just as priceless as the effort put into it.

One of the greatest benefits of studying in Metropolia Business School is the diverse international atmosphere. Our students, lecturers and other staff come from various cultures, and I have made a lot of good friends from all around the world. The lecturers are very professional and have taught me to think outside the box. I am sure that after graduating from Metropolia I will have excellent skills and competencies that are valuable assets in the job market.

During my years as a European Management student I enjoyed the professional teaching methods, the hands-on experience and the extra care that was provided to me as an individual. I never felt I was alienated in a complex system; I felt more like a cog in the system making it run, that I mattered as much as the next person. My questions were answered, my problems were addressed with discretion and my wishes were taken into consideration, I was welcomed "inside" quickly. Studying was fun and challenging and I felt I was going somewhere and learned something new every day.
