International Business and Logistics
International Business and Logistics is our newest programme and our first students started in August 2008. IBL is a single degree programme but we encourage students to do their work placement abroad and/or go on study exchange abroad and we offer lots of opportunities for that. Logistics is the management of the flow of goods, information and other resources and is one essential area of the modern business world. This programme gives you good hands-on knowledge and the ability to work in international logistics.
You will study marketing, management, trade and business law, economics and IT to get a comprehensive understanding of international business principles. Since this programme concentrates on logistics in international business you will be studying subjects such as purchasing, logistics management, supply chain management and project management.
After graduation you will receive a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree and you will be able to work within industrial, commercial or public sector organisations. Your job title may be Purchasing Assistant, Buyer, Import/Export Assistant and later when you have more experience you may work as a Purchasing Manager, Logistics Manager, Import/Export Manager among others.
